Royal Canin Growth, now available from Swell Pets.

Babycat 34 and Kitten 34 are complete food designed by veterinary dieticians for kittens.

1st age kitten, from 1 to 4 months.
The kitten enters a dietary transition period called weaning: this growth period is particularly delicate and susceptible to digestive disorders: the kitten gradually loses her ability to digest lactose and therefore develops an increasing intolerance to it.

The milk teeth erupt: from 2-3 weeks to 2 months.

The immunity transmitted by the mother decreases while the kitten's own immune defences are not yet operational.

2nd age kitten, from 4 to 12 months:
The definitive teeth appear. If the new adult teeth are protected during this period, the early onset of tooth and mouth disorders can be prevented.

The kitten's digestive ability improves: she assimilates some nutrients such as starch increasingly well.

Her growth continues at a slower rate up to the age of 1 year: her bone structure is gradually consolidated and her muscle mass develops. She still has high energy requirements, although they decrease slightly.
