The background of the Chudleys brand is a canine one, the name is taken from the Chudley family who are well known and respected breeders of Labradors, Cocker Spaniels and Springer Spaniels and the Chudleys brand name has now been in the market place for over 30 years.
Chudleys was established in 1976, after many years of the Chudleys family feeding their dogs on the Dodson & Horrell straight cereals the Chudleys family and Dodson & Horrell chose to make their relationship more permanent by becoming involved in a commercial capacity, and developing Dog Food together.
You can be assured that with the past experience of Dodson & Horrell (founded in 1939 and Horse & Dog Food manufactures as appointed by Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II) and the experience of the Chudleys family that feeding Chudleys Dog Food to your dog is a great choice.

Chudleys now have a range of dog foods following the launch of their flagship food Chudleys Original. All of the dog foods developed by Chudleys contain a mix of flavours and are muesli & nugget diets designed to suit all dogs no matter what their age, size, shape or breeding.
Within this range is Chudleys Choice for all adult dogs, which is a Soya and Gluten free dog food making it less likely to upset your dog’s stomach. There are a number of flavours available in the Chudleys Choice range, all of which include mixed dietary fibre to ensure that your dog feels full for longer, anti-oxidant oils & carotenoids to ensure that teeth and gums are kept as healthy as possible.
Also in this range is Chudleys Sensitive which has been designed to reduce the risk of allergies by making sure that the cereals and lamb included in the sensitive mix is of low allergy level.
Dietary fibres are also included along with herbs to help to make sure that your dog has a healthy gut. Again Chudleys Sensitive is Soya and Gluten Free, but it is packed with tasty Lamb, Rice & Vegetables so that your dog is still sure to enjoy feeding time.

Other Chudleys dog foods available are Chudleys Lite, which is still a tasty tea time treat made from Chicken, Rice and Vegetables but has the advantage of reduced calories. This food also has added dietary fibres to try to stop your dog feeling hungry and is an ideal food if your dog has a tendency to put on weight, is not very active, or needs to lose a few pounds. It is always advised though that you discuss this type of diet change with your vet.
Chudleys also have dog foods which have been designed to support the changes your dog will undergo due to age. These include Chudleys Puppy, which can be fed from weaning or when your dog is able to accept solids, right up to 3-6 months old.

Chudleys Junior, which can be fed from approximately 3 months old and contains all the nutritional needs required to support a growing dog.
