What is HabiStat Bearded Dragon Bedding?

HabiStat Bearded Dragon Bedding is a species-specific substrate that is suitable for Bearded dragons, as well as other desert species. It comes as a blend of soil, sand and grit, which provides the naturalistic environment Bearded dragons seek. It's absorbent too and also encourages digging. 

While it's designed for Bearded Dragons, this substrate is also suitable for Rankin's Dragons. This substrate is 100% natural, and has a unique blend of aggregates that can be found in the Bearded Dragon's natural environment, and are therefore better suited than the standard substrates that are often available.

Why buy HabiStat Bearded Dragon Bedding?

The mixed particles and grit provide excellent moisture retention when spayed, which can create wet areas that would be naturally found in hides or burrows. Bearded Dragons will often seek out these damp areas when shedding, or if they require more humidity so this, in turn, encourages digging. HabiStat substrates are also now designed specially from recyclable and biodegradable paper so you can recycle the packaging once you're done with it.

How do I use this substrate?

When using HabiStat Bearded Dragon Bedding, spread substrate evenly across the vivarium base ensuring a depth of 5-7.5cm. Do not overfill if using underfloor heating. Spot clean as required and replace regularly.
