Swell Crested Gecko Starter Kit - Gold

Our Crested Gecko Gold Kit is the next level of starter kit, and is suitable for any age of Crested Gecko. The 45cm x 45cm x 90cm glass terrarium provides them with ample space, giving them the ability to climb as they would naturally, as well as meaning that the temperature and UV gradient within the enclosure is more natural.

What's in This Kit?

This Crested Gecko Gold kit comes with an Exo Terra 45cm x 45cm x 90cm terrarium, along with a, adjustable stand, clamp lamp bulb holder and heat bulb, that is controlled using a dimming thermostat, so you can be sure that this is kept at just the right temperature. The dimming thermostat will not only keep your heat at the required temperature, but also ensure that it can't overheat, keeping both you and your Crestie safe at all times. There is a thermometer for checking of the temperature, as well as hygrometer to monitor your humidity levels as well.

For the UV lighting we have included an Arcadia ShadeDweller UV lighting kit, which provides the optimum low level of UV, whilst still being strong enough to penetrate effectively through the mesh top, and provide your Crested Gecko with a good quality UV light that will help them to stay strong and healthy.

We have also included a reptile spray bottle, so that you can easily provide the right humidity levels for your Crested Gecko, which is essential to ensuring that they stay healthy and hydrated. There is also a coco brick, which just needs to be soaked in water to expand and provide fresh coco soil for the enclosure, as well as Hydro Rocks and Hydro Matting, meaning you can easily set up a reservoir system underneath the soil. This reservoir is ideal for maintaining humidity levels, as the water stored here is soaked back into the soil, keeping it moist and therefore raising the humidity. This is also really important if you are using live plants, as they need this water supply, and it is easy to just top up the water to ensure the rocks at the bottom are submerged. The live plants themselves also contribute towards the humidity levels, meaning you are less likely to have highs and lows of humidity, when you spray for example, but a more stable long term humidity range throughout the day. There is a couple of plants and a vine, though these are really down to personal taste, and more will be required, especially to allow your Crested Gecko to use all the space within the terrarium.
